Individual Therapy
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck—trapped in old patterns, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by the fear that they are somehow unlovable. Maybe you’ve spent years trying to be easygoing, accommodating, or self-sufficient, only to realize that these strategies have left you feeling unseen and unfulfilled in your relationships. Perhaps you’ve been heartbroken one too many times, caught in cycles of longing, disappointment, or self-doubt when it comes to love and dating. Maybe you struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or fear of rejection, making it difficult to show up authentically with others.
My work with individuals focuses on helping you reconnect—with yourself, your emotions, and the parts of you that have been silenced or ignored. Together, we will explore the stories and protective strategies that have shaped your relationships, not to get rid of them, but to understand them with curiosity and compassion. If you’ve ever felt like you had to shrink yourself to be loved or that no matter how much you give, it’s never quite enough, we can work through those wounds together. Many of these patterns once served a purpose, keeping you safe in some way, but they might now be holding you back from the kind of connection, confidence, and fulfillment you crave.
For those struggling with heartbreak, I offer a space to grieve, to process, and to rediscover yourself outside of the relationship that ended. For those who feel exhausted by dating, wondering if love will ever work out for them, we can explore the fears, patterns, and narratives that might be keeping you stuck. And for those who struggle to believe they are worthy of love, we can work on cultivating self-trust, self-compassion, and relationships that feel reciprocal and nourishing.
I integrate a blend of parts-work, somatic, and narrative therapy approaches to help you shift from feeling disconnected to feeling more embodied, present, and empowered.
Together we’ll work on:
Deep self-inquiry, emotional processing, and embodied awareness
Recognizing and shifting relational patterns that no longer serve you
Building confidence in your voice, needs, and boundaries
Developing a stronger sense of self-trust and self-compassion
Healing from relational wounds and create deeper, more authentic connections
Tuning into your body’s wisdom and learning to move through emotions rather than suppress them
This is not about fixing yourself—because you are not broken. It’s about learning to trust yourself, to take up space unapologetically, and to build relationships that feel mutual and fulfilling. If you’re ready to explore this work together, I invite you to reach out.

Relationship Counseling
Relationships can be both deeply fulfilling and incredibly painful. Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in cycles of miscommunication, resentment, or emotional distance. You may love each other but feel unheard, misunderstood, or disconnected. Arguments might escalate or never seem fully resolved, leaving you both feeling frustrated and alone in your relationship.
I help couples slow down, tune into each other’s perspectives, and communicate in ways that foster connection rather than defensiveness or criticism. Combining the science-backed tools and communication blueprints from the Gottman Method with somatic therapy techniques, we’ll identify the patterns keeping you stuck and work towards healthier, more fulfilling ways of relating.
Together, we’ll work on:
Breaking negative communication cycles and improving understanding and compassion
Strengthening emotional and physical intimacy
Navigating conflict in a way that builds connection rather than distance
Rebuilding trust and repairing after ruptures
Exploring differences in needs, values, and desires with curiosity rather than criticism
Whether you’re struggling with ongoing conflict, feeling emotionally disconnected, or simply want to deepen your relationship, couples therapy can help you create the kind of partnership where both of you feel valued, heard, and loved. If this resonates, I’d love to support you in this journey.

Walk and Talk Therapy
Imagine the last time you took a walk in nature and felt a renewed sense of energy, a clearer mind, and a deeper connection to your body. Nature has a unique way of healing us, yet in our hectic lives, finding time to get outside often falls by the wayside. Similarly, making time for therapy can be challenging, and sometimes we find ourselves choosing between physical movement and mental well-being.
Walk and talk therapy offers a powerful solution, combining the healing effects of nature with the benefits of therapy. For those who find sitting in an office or staring at a screen daunting, hiking side by side with me on a trail or talking on the phone with me while walking can open up new levels of conversation and self-discovery. Nature has a way of soothing anxiety, lifting spirits, and grounding us in the present moment. Through walk and talk therapy, we can reconnect with our environment—and in turn, reconnect with ourselves.
*I am currently pausing my hiking therapy practice in Santa Cruz starting October 1, 2024, as I am in the process of relocating. I will be offering phone therapy for folks who would like to continue walking during our sessions alongside online therapy.
